This year's meeting was being planned mere days after the first one ended, and Marlo had offered his place for the occasion. Closer to the time it became apparent that Will could also host, but in the end, we stuck with the original choice of Germany. It was difficult deciding, because it meant some people could go and some couldn't, and in the end it turned out only five could make the trip, excluding Marlo and Fab of course. Alex and Ilkka arrived on the 23rd, proceeded to get very drunk and were lucky enough to go to the weekly D&B party. Will arrived the next day, and as usual proceeded to get absolutely wasted, and Ingmar and Stefan arrived shortly after Will had passed out. The early part of the visit was spent relaxing in Fab's pool, and playing footbag and chess, with not much Quaking being done, as only three computers were working at the time. We bought copious amounts of beer and even more copious amounts of pizza, which was consumed at an alarming rate. Especially the pizza. Because of Marlo's large house, we each had our own bedroom, so hours were a lot more varied than at Ilkka's, where we all slept at pretty much the same time, but we generally got to bed around 3-5am, waking at about 3pm the next afternoon. The afternoon and evening was reserved for drinking and other such "activities". Plentiful beerbongs were downed, generally speaking with more success than last year, and the living room table bore witness to it all.     It wasn't all debauchery though, we managed to go to the pub also, where more beer was drunk, and we played pool and table football a fair bit. We also went Go-Karting which was good fun if a little brief, and the next Monday was back to the D&B club, which was great, although the bartender was a little disturbing. Tuesday was Marlo's birthday, so naturally he didn't remember much of the night before.      Later on during the trip we finally got into full Quaking mode, and managed to churn out quite a lot of demos in a relatively short space of time. We even started a new project, which we would have finished had not the network completely given up the ghost at the eleventh hour. So stay tuned for that one, guys. Ilkka and Alex left at four in the morning on the 2nd, followed by a completely wasted Will (although this time lack of sleep and Alice In Wonderland were the culprits), and finally Ingmar who missed his first train. Stefan had had to leave much earlier on the 27th.     Already next year's trip is being talked about, but who knows what will happen in the meantime. Many thanks to Marlo for letting us wreck his house, and we all look forward to the next time.
